With a student to teacher ratio of no greater than 8:1, our preschool class is specially designed to meet the needs of God’s little lambs, many of whom may be attending school for the first time.
Preschool Admission Requirements
This program is open to children who are ages three and four, are toilet trained, and independent and self-sufficient in the bathroom.
Preschool Program
The learning opportunities in this program provide experiences for students to become more self-reliant, independent, develop greater self-control, and build group cooperation skills. These are the skills your child will need the most in order to establish the best foundation for future school success.
Your child will grow and flourish as they learn to love learning through our theme and literature-based, age appropriate curriculum. We also help your child build additional critical skills such as:
- fine motor and scissor skills
- direction-following skills
- listening and auditory discrimination skills
- development of language and vocabulary
- critical thinking skills
Additional learning opportunities provide for letter recognition, number recognition and age-appropriate math concepts, science, art, and social studies.
Our Preschool Program exceeds federal and state standards, so you can be assured your child is receiving the highest quality learning experiences.
Music
The final component of this program is a custom music curriculum. Our custom music curriculum focuses on the joy of singing and music appreciation, and provides an age-appropriate foundation of hymns and songs. Music time will be a great part of your child’s day, and our children will have many opportunities to sing both in the classroom and in church.
